Dipak Karki
Managing Director
Dipak Karki is the Founder of DK2, bringing over 25 years of experience in ship finance and banking. He previously spent 17 years at RBS, where he held senior roles including Head of Shipping Coverage across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific with a cUS$5bn loan book. Since 2016, he has also held senior advisory positions with Apollo, RiverRock European Capital Partners, and Galbraith’s, where he served as Head of Financial Advisory before establishing DK2 in 2019.
Dipak has also invested in maritime fintech and decarbonisation companies, and since 2026 has directly funded select projects. He is a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights.
